• Yes, the heart rate and oxygen level readings from the Owlet Smart Sock have been proven accurate. Owlet products are tested to medical device standards for accuracy and are clinically validated, so you can wholeheartedly trust the information we provide you. • Which age group is the Owlet Smart Sock designed for?
• The Owlet Smart Sock 3 fits most children up to eighteen months old, or 13.5 kg. The Owlet Smart Sock Plus and Smart Sock Extension Pack include fabric socks that fit children up to 5 years, or 25 kg.
• Is the Owlet Smart Sock safe?
• Yes, when used as instructed, the Smart Sock is safe for daily use with your baby. Pulse oximetry, the technology the Smart Sock uses to measure baby’s heart rate and oxygen level, is trusted by US hospitals and has been used for more than 30 years. We have engaged in rigorous testing to ensure the Smart Sock is safe for all families. • What type of waves does the device emit, and will this energy harm my baby?
• The Smart Sock No, the monitor is not always on and it is using Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (2.4 GHz) to communicate periodically to your phone. 915GHz or 2.4 GHz. The radio waves generated from the Smart Sock device are less than one-twentieth of those emitted by cellphones we carry in our pockets every day. These radio waves are not harmful to you or your baby. The Owlet Baby Monitor will not receive interference from home alarms, cell phones or other electronics.
• Will the Smart Sock leave red marks on my baby’s foot?

The small number of users who notice red marks on their baby’s foot after using the Smart Sock have found that the Sock was on too tight or they were using the wrong size fabric sock. • Yes! The Owlet Smart Sock is low profile and fits under a regular sock, footie pajamas, or in a swaddle. Make sure the Smart Sock is in direct contact with your baby’s foot and properly placed.

• Both parents may access their child's information and live readings in the Owlet App over their respective smartphones allowing both to track their child.
• Does Owlet work with twins/multiples?
• Yes! The Owlet Monitor Smart Sock is great for twins and higher-order multiples. Each baby will need his or her own Owlet Smart Sock and Base Station. • Will the smart sock still work if my Wi-Fi goes out?
• Yes! The Smart Sock communicates with the Base Station even in the event of Wi-Fi disruption, and will notify you with lights and sounds if your baby’s heart rate or oxygen drop below the preset levels. The Base Station is your primary notification device.
• Will the smart sock work if my baby moves around?
• The Smart Sock is designed to track your baby’s baby’s heart rate and oxygen level through gentle motion and will continue tracking through the gentle movement during sleep.
