This mum will be using the Smart Sock until our girls outgrow it

When our twins were born, we were trying to decide if we wanted to invest in Owlet Smart Socks for them. Having to buy two was definitely a discussion.

When our one twin outgrew her bassinet at 4 months, we decided to move both the girls into their cribs. I convinced my husband we needed the Smart Socks that night. I ordered two the next morning and I slept on the floor in the girls’ room every night until they arrived.

The peace of mind they have brought me has been such a nice relief from my normal anxiety around the girls sleeping. We went 10 months without a red notification but on Nov 4, we had our first one. I honestly didn't even look at the app, I just flew down the hall and into their room. Chloe was laying on her side with her eyes wide open staring blankly, with a rigid body, and not responding to her name. I yelled for my husband to call 911 while I was trying desperately to get her to respond through my tears. While waiting for the ambulance, she started vomiting and grunting and then eventually came to, but was extremely out of it.

We still don't know for sure what actually happened but her heart rate spiked to 221bpm and when the paramedics took her temperature, she was at 101. This mum will be using the Smart Sock until our girls outgrow it.

So, thank you Owlet for creating a product that gives parents peace of mind.
